Okay, so I would pray, I'd read my word, and it tended to, it began to impact more now that I had a personal relationship. It wasn't just deeds and doings of things. And I remember going in and being able to share those experiences and the things that I've been experiencing with others. Welcome to The Ignite with Barry Maguire Podcast. Your Barry's book and passion for spreading God's love are guaranteed to ignite your life. Now listen in and prepare to have your life ignited. What Joseph, thanks for spending a little time with us this morning. And I talked to him about you, you, you, you, you entered into this relationship, this personal relationship with you. So how do, what did that do for you and how did it impact the people around you? Yeah, definitely. So I would begin to do the things that I knew that I should have been doing. Okay, so I would pray I'd read my word and it, it tended to, it began to impact more now that I had a personal relationship. It wasn't just deeds and doings of things. And I remember going in and, and being able to share those experiences and the things that I've been experiencing with others. And I remember, I, ever so vaguely, there was a, a girl that I worked with. And I remember I, I had a Bible and I'd always write in it and I had it there. And I was just like, the Holy Spirit told me, hey, you're going to give this Bible to her. And I was like, well, I just bought this Bible. Why would I give? You know, and, but it was obedience, obedience and, and so I said, okay. So I remember, I had it and shift started, walked in, handed it to her. And she was like, oh, well, thank you, you know, and I remember reading, I was reading, I was sitting there reading a couple of times that she asked about it. And so I read it to her and she said, well, that doesn't sound like, that doesn't sound complicated. She's like, I've always heard that the Bible was like, you know, very, you know, like, it's in this range where you have to reach up for, you know, to get it. And I said, no, and I read her some, I read her, it was the Gospels. And I remember reading, it was in John. So I read it to her and she said, that sounds very like simple, you know, and I said, well, now this is yours. So go ahead and read it. And I remember she started reading it and she came back the next day and she was excited. She was like, wow, that, it was very enjoyable. And this coming from, she was Asian. And so she didn't have any Christianity thrown onto her. It was new. It was new, you know, and she was, she was interested and then she said, well, what church do you go to? So I share, I share with her and she said, well, you know, maybe I'll go with you. And I said, okay. And so I always had Saturdays off and I said, come on down, come with me. There's a service on Saturday, there's a service on Sunday, check it out. And so we went and I remember experiencing that with her and not having to force anything with her and just, and her sitting there in that same presence, getting her into God's presence and then God doing the changing, you know, he touched her, you know, and even to this day, I still, I still think about her and she'll call and she knows me and my wife very closely and, you know, just to see the change, like that, just to see a change like that. And to know that I had, that God chose me, God chose me. He said, hey, you're going to impact this individual's life, you know, no one, maybe somebody else's fancier or special could do it. But no, I'm going to choose you. And to see that happen, that's, that's right there is where the impact is where there's no greater experience. Yeah. And the human experience, you know, a hundred years from now, if we're Christian, the only thing will matter a hundred years from now, how many people would be in heaven because of our influence? Yeah. You know, for eternity, she's going to be in heaven? Yeah. You're going to, you're going to celebrate that for eternity, for eternity. Yeah. Thank you Joseph. This was very special time.
