I think that's what a lot of my generation lacks, is a sound foundation in what is true. They've been lied to time and time again, told that they can't do a lot. Getting on that path of truth and knowing that there's no such thing as my truth or your truth, they're simply the truth and we should seek it out. It's been such an incredible blessing. Being able to go and read these great works, to be able to read the Bible, to be biblically sound, you know, is something that I'm very honored and blessed to have in my life. Welcome to the Ignite with Mary Maguire podcast. How would you like to have the time of your life for the rest of your life? How would you like to defeat fear effortlessly, knowing for sure God is hearing and answering your prayers and directing your steps and making everything work for good? This is exciting. Here's the question. How would you like to ignite your life? Stay tuned. Welcome to Ignite, everybody. This is a special treat for me. I think most of us know that Gen Zers are making a lot of noise these days. And there are a lot of perceptions about Gen Zers that I found are not true. In fact, to the contrary, I'm finding that they're not lost, and they're not bitter, and they're not angry. They just want to know the truth. And quite frankly, I'm eight years old. I'm a long way from a Gen Zer, but I share a lot of their same thoughts. I'm tired of the hypocrisy of the church, aren't you? The emptiness of the church, the offerings, the failures, the go and have a good day. I mean, it's meaningless. It's not doing anything. Unfortunately, I mean, you see the statistics. It says they're more spiritual. I don't know what that means exactly, but it's searching truth. Then their parents, that's never happened before in the history of the world that we know of. And statistics have started. So it's a huge opportunity. And so I have been focusing on that. Our team has been focusing on Gen Zers for the last year or so. And as we met with them, and I've been warned, they get a short-term attention span, right? Yes, absolutely. And they're going to be on their phones. Don't get offended. That's just what they do. And so I heard all that, but I didn't experience that. You know, I can speak to older people my age or 30 years younger, and I can speak to 1,000 people at the end, maybe 5, maybe 10 at most come up, and they're broken, and they want to make a difference. When I speak to Gen Zers, they're all there. I can talk. I just keep talking, and I can talk to them for 45 minutes, and they're not on their phones. Mm-hmm. So these are my resident experts today, okay? And Keith Beaver, you're with Turning Point, and you focus on high schoolers. Yes, I'm the Club America field representative here in Arizona. That's, I mean, there's like a million high schoolers. Absolutely. How would you like to be in charge of reaching out to a million high schoolers? I mean, it's a... A troubled group of people, thanks to us, not their problem. It's just that we're having confusion. And this is your mission field. It's just, so we're going to have a lot of talk with that. And then there's this guy next to you that we all have a lot of fun with. He thinks he's 40 years old, but he's actually a ninth grader. Ocean Razo and Ocean, I mean, you speak to large groups. You've written, where's your book? Oh, yeah. Where's your book? Somebody bring us a book, okay? Got to have a book. Thank you, Dad. Here we go. Yeah. Look at this. Okay, Preserving Freedom for the Next Generation. So author, speaker, huge podcast, a huge following. What's the name of your show? It's just your name, right? The Ocean Rasso Show, yeah. The Ocean Rasso Show. Google it. You'll be blown away. I mean, so you're having a lot of fun, particularly for your age. And your demographic goes all the way up to like 40-year-olds. You've got a lot of people following you. Yeah. It's all about building that coalition, right? Yeah. So, I'll start with you right quick. I mean, high schoolers, I mean, there's all kinds of things you could be doing. I've gotten to know you enough. You have a lot of talent. Thank you. But you gravitated to this huge market race, this huge need. A million high schoolers in Arizona. So what brought your focus to high schoolers? Give us some insight into why you love them so much, why you connect with them, and then we'll go into more about their response. Yeah. How did it all start for you? Yeah, absolutely. So there are kind of two reasons. The first is when I graduated from college, you know, I was looking at jobs specifically at Turning Point. Yeah. And I have two younger brothers, one of which at the time was in high school. So I've kind of grown up with you know, my brothers and their friends. So I've always been good speaking to those high school students. All right, well that makes a lot of sense. So you have some personal experience from the home front of what's going on through their minds. I don't know, where did your story even begin? I know your dad wanted to give you sound bringing up and grounding, homeschooling you and all. Talk about that and how did you evolve to being Ocean Rastler? Yeah, well, I've been incredibly blessed from such a young age to know the truth. And I think that's what a lot of my generation lacks is a sound foundation in what is true. They've been lied to time and time again, told that they can't do a lot. And getting on that path of truth and knowing that, you know, there's no such thing as my truth or your truth. They're simply true. the truth and we should seek it out. It's been such an incredible blessing. Being able to go and read these great works, to be able to read the Bible, to be biblically sound, you know, is something that I'm very honored and blessed to have in my life. Isn't it amazing? Because they are, I find overall, they're all searching for truth. They don't know what truth, they're searching in all the wrong places. Yeah, exactly. And unfortunately about 90% of our churches are woke, so even if they go to church, they're getting bad information. They want truth. They don't realize that God's the author of truth. So talk about how that is. It's just amazing to do it. There is one truth. Yeah. How do you get that imparted to them? Yeah. Well, you know, we as humans tend to think very logically. And that logic has kind of been taken out of my generation, especially what you see in public institutions, you know, public schools, social media. They've been lied to a lot, told all these false narratives. And then they find out that these narratives aren't true and it kind of sends them on a downward spiral. The biggest issue of my generation is technology. You know, we fear it, we don't like artificial intelligence, you know, it's scary, we think it's taking our jobs. If we only looked at the truth, if we prayed about it, if we understood it better, we'd be foundationally sound. And I think we can apply that towards all these different fields in my generation specifically, especially when it comes to our faith, that we've kind of been searching, like you said, down all these wrong paths And it's time to course correct and kind of blare the truth to my generation. Because it's what they need. Today's truth is being explained to us a lot of different ways. Yeah. Even from the pulphets. Yes. That are not scriptural truth. It's crazy. So it seems to me that understanding scripture today... It's almost, and it's going to become much more important as we go forward. But if you don't know scriptural truth, these lies come to us, right? And they seem logical. And sometimes they even misquote scripture to make us believe it. And so, I mean, they're just lost in this quagmire. How do you get through to high schoolers where there's so much going on? How do you pierce the darkness? How do you get and connect with them to what real truth is? Yeah, so I think when you look at college students, right, they're so set in their ways. You know, they've gone through high school, they've had a little bit of the real world, you know, they're kind of off on their own, if you will. But high school students, they're so impressionable. So me and my role... So they're more fertile ground. Yeah, it's... You have a better... The college ones are getting a little more set. Yes. So that I can... Okay, that makes sense. Exactly, yeah. High school students, you can speak to them about the truth. They're pliable. You still have opportunities to get in their... A Russian ball. You see their minds of Bush. Get in there so that they can see what truth is. Okay, and how fast do they respond? Do they understand? How hard is that to get that message through to them? Yeah, I mean, it's very different for each student, right? So whether they grew up in a Christian household or, you know, depending on who their teachers are, a lot of them want to know the truth. They are eager to learn about the truth. the Bible and, you know, they want to build their walk with Christ. So I found it easy to speak to them. Do you get barriers? I mean, do you get a percentage of them? Just, I don't want to hear that? Or do you feel like just, do you get, what kind of percentage? Or what percentage of them would you say are really open to truth? Yeah, yeah. So the ones that are involved with Turning Point, you know, they want to know about it. But then we do have students. That doesn't count. They're already halfway there. If they're not involved with Turning Point per se, but they're just searching, what percentage are open and what percentage? Maybe it's not a fair question. I'm just thinking, how many are? I don't argue with fools. I just don't argue. If they want to argue, they can go argue with somebody else. Because there's too many that are really open for truth. So in the high school world, what percentage would you presume are really open to hear or searching or generally searching? Yeah. Yeah, and it's different for each school in each area I go into, so I don't know if I could give a hard percentage. So demographics have something to do with that? Yeah, I do give a lot of credit to the students who, you know, will table on campus, and there's quite a few high school students that will come up to the table and, you know, they'll be like, okay, you know, what is this? And they'll ask questions, you know, maybe not in the best way. They're trying to challenge us, but then, you know, we do have students that come up and they'll, They're all angry about what we're doing, and they're trying to troll us in a way. So I don't know if I have like a percentage, but, you know, I say it's big. Well, there's obviously the attacks of the enemy is messing with their minds. And there's so much demonizing Christians of all types of descriptions. So there's got to be a bit of that going on. They just think it's the natural actions to push away. But you get through that pretty easily, or is it hard? Yeah, I would definitely say it's more difficult with the students who just put up those walls and they don't even want to listen. Yeah. So that is really hard to get through. And, you know, we're not going to fix it in an afternoon. I'm not going to, you know, preach the whole Bible to them in one day. But, you know, even just like having a 30 second conversation just to kind of get their mind going and they can go talk to their friends, parents, teachers about it. You know, and it's one step at a time. So I do think, you know, they'll slowly come around, but it's definitely not in one afternoon's work. Yeah, and folks, you've heard me say before, I don't argue with fools. I just, I'm not into apologetics. There are some who are. You're great at apologetics. Yes, it's my passion. I enjoy it. I would not want to debate you. Yeah. But I just find that there's so many people that are just searching. Yeah. And so I'd rather—I only have so much time. Yeah. And we each only have so much time. So you kind of cast your breath in the water, and when they come— And I don't have enough time to get to them, so why should I spend some of that time with people that are hard-hurt? They just want to argue. And there are those who just want to argue to argue. Yeah. They just want to prove you. They don't want the truth. They just want to throw you off, right? I mean, you're the apologist. You see that. Yeah. Well, I mean, there's kind of two extremes in my generation. There are those who are extremely apathetic, where they don't care anymore. They don't care about the biblical truths. They don't care about getting involved. Heartbreaking. Exactly. But then on the opposite end of the spectrum, there are those who are so emotional and radicalized. Like what you said, it's kind of hard to speak with them. Yeah. So my target audience is those who are apathetic because we can bring them back. The youth, that's ultimately what we're working towards. Yeah, yeah. So you can speak as one of them. I'm having great fun. I'm having great success. I'm 83 years old, okay? Yeah. And my team said, you know, we need to deal with this. I said, yeah, I want to. I don't know if my message will reach them. My message is love on people. Yeah. And the reality that he lives on us, he's there every moment. And so we said, well, let's meet some forums and stuff. And all of a sudden I realized they're hungry. In fact, I think the message I have is for Gen Zers. Yes. I tell you the truth and comment on this, if you will. I think the only hope for America are Gen Zers. I don't think the older crowd, they're just apathetic. And we can do all types of things to reach them. And they say yes and they go right on in their apathetic lives. They're surrounded by people going to hell and they don't care. How is that possible? But Gen Zers are on the edge and searching and questioning and angry sometimes, but that's good. They're in the game. They want to know. So comment on that, if you will. What would be your perspective on that? Well, first and foremost, I think my generation is, we've been fed the knowledge, right? And knowledge is just facts. It's easy to understand. We don't have wisdom. And that is what we're seeking. And I think that's why a lot of people are gravitating towards what you have to say, towards what the older generation has to say, because they want to pass down that wisdom. They want to understand that wisdom. They want to preserve it and continue it on. That's what America was built on, this truth, this Christian, Judeo-Christian truth. It's inescapable. It is truth. We've been lacking it in our society. It's kind of as though we've taken out the foundation and expected the tower to stay standing. And our generations course correcting, trying to put back that foundation, trying to get that wisdom from the older generations to do it properly and methodically. And we're just hungry for the truth now more than ever. Is that true in high schoolers specifically, would you say? That they're really on a search for truth? Yeah, I definitely would say so. You know, they want to, there's this whole, I feel like I see students coming around where they want to challenge people, right? Whether it's out of good intention or bad intention, but they really want to challenge specifically their teachers, you know, their parents. So they're asking so many questions and they ask me questions, you know, nine times out of 10, I don't have the answer for it. But it's really inspiring to even just like see those questions in their brains. But when they hear the truth, mm-hmm. then you have their attention. Yes. I mean, because it's not just man's truth. It's documented truth. You go to the Word of God. Isn't the Word of God amazing? Speaks to all of it. So as you might guess, my audience and these podcasts are not necessarily Gen Zers. Okay? So an older crowd. I'm kind of one example, but can you speak to our older audience? That older audience may be 30 years old or 40 or 50 or what have you. But what would you say to an older audience of what they can do to make a difference with Gen Zers, to give them the truth that we're talking about? What suggestions would you give older folk on how to join with you in doing what you're already doing? Well, I think it would just be to have a conversation. You know, I travel all around, I speak to my generation quite often, and it's something that we've lacked in our society now. We don't have dialogue, we don't have debate, we don't have a conversation. We're lacking that human element of passing along the truth and wisdom and knowledge. You know, my generation, we've been on the phones, on technology so much that it's kind of, we kind of gotten tired of that. And so I see it everywhere I go, they're eager to just talk to someone, to understand, to comprehend, to gain that wisdom and knowledge. They're so eager just to have a simple conversation because now it's become dangerous in our society to have a conversation. Who would have thought? And conversation is what built America, right? Think of the Constitutional Convention. Think of how our founders created our great constitutional republic. It was through dialogue and debate and a simple conversation. There was a lot of debate. Yes, quite a bit. Finally, they said, oh, yeah, we need to bring God into the conversation. And then all of a sudden the debate got a little more focused. It's amazing the history of this country that we live in. Any thoughts on how older folk can resonate? can have conversation with high schoolers. Yeah, that's the big thing especially. And then bringing high school, college, younger adults to church, to ministry, whether that's gonna be through a young life group or a Bible study or something like that. So putting young adults into that setting is I think really gonna bring out their faith and then want to have them speak up more. So, I mean, besides, you know, from conversations that Ocean was speaking about is, you know, bringing them to church. That's the biggest thing. And having a mentor is also huge. So whether, you know, that's a podcaster or just somebody, you know, in your local community too, is being able to speak to them and just, you know, listening to what they have to say is so important. I would say I have an advantage. because I'm old, okay, so they think I'm out of it, okay. And if they're ethnic at all, he's an old white guy who's an oppressor, and I hate them. And I actually, I'm not bothered by that, because I destroy it immediately by loving on them. And so I go out of my way when I see them, any opportunity I get. And I find something to comment on, you know, and start. And I'm fine. It's a small grouping, a small sampling. I don't have any turnaways. They light up that I'm paying. They can't believe I actually care about them. It's because they don't normally think we're just going on doing our thing. We could care less about them. When we care, they're hungry. And maybe somebody of age has some wisdom there. I think it's a huge opportunity that we have. We should not just be as the older folks in our population. We're not even paying attention to our old age group, but particularly we're not paying attention to the most important part of our population that can really make a difference. And just reaching out and loving on them. You know, Jesus said, they'll know you're my disciple by your love. It's not hard to love on them. And it shocks them, too. It shocks them. They don't expect to care. Why should that shock them? We've always loved our youth, and now there's this chasm, right? And when you bridge that and just love on them, we're all suffering for lack of love. Everybody's wanting to be loved. And particularly, I mean, I get the stories of so many young people. They're not loved at home. They're not feeling loved anywhere. They're just lost and searching and mad and reaching out. And somebody comes and loves them. It's fun. Oh, yeah, absolutely. For me, it's like sport. I mean, people say, you know, I don't know how to do it. They get all in a knot. It's just the most fun thing there is to do is to share your faith with anybody. Just love on people and let the Holy Spirit do the rest, right? Definitely. Yeah. On a typical day. So how would you reach out? You're listening to God, obviously, and give you opportunities. Do you have any particular experiences, conversations that pop up that would give us insight today into the mind of a high schooler? Yeah, wow. I mean, gosh, if you want to talk about different opinions that they have, we could be here all day. Yeah, but the biggest thing that I see with high schoolers nowadays is just spending time with God. So I see a lot more like intentionality behind it. So high schoolers, you know, before or after school, sitting down and praying to God, that has been astronomical. It's really blown up. And then I see a lot of communities, too, in high schools that they come together and they do prayer circles. They do... you know, prayer at the flagpole instead of, you know, walkouts that was happening this past semester. So that's a really big thing coming together. But that's the conversation that students have is really prayer together. That's good. Yeah. Well, you got to plant that seed first and foremost. Yes. And then you continue to grow it. So I think with my generation, being as lost as we were in the beginning, you know, being the most addicted, you know, the most depressed generation, having that opportunity to come to something that's truthful, like you said, love, unconditional love. You know, if we don't get in the household, we go to the church. And what I see in my generation a lot is they'll start off not knowing. They'll start off saying, oh, I'm an atheist. I'm an agnostic because I've been around Christianity and I don't like it. And all of a sudden they see- Can I stop here right there? Why do they not like Christianity? Because I know that's true. Yes. Why do you think that's in their minds? Because that's a big deal. Yeah, well, you said earlier the false teachers in the church. Mm-hmm. They've been around kind of a shell of Christianity, and it's been manipulated so much. So where it's, you know, they think all Christians hate, all Christians are oppressors. Kind of this false narrative. Yeah, yeah. that everything that's old is evil. And when they finally come to the truth, that's not what Christianity is at all. You know, take away the mask, lift the veil. It's something different. And it's just that moment where they learn that, and then all of a sudden they're hooked, and they want to learn more. Are you hearing what he's saying? That's how you appear to them. Yeah. Okay, a lot of you. Yeah. You know, there's nothing happening there. They've dismissed you, and you've dismissed them. But you're the adult. Right? You have responsibility. We have responsibility. Yeah. And to reach out to this fresh audience of people that are inquisitive and really wanting to know and have all these wrong and wrong. I think it's a huge opportunity where they see us that way, and we break through and express exactly the opposite. And I think... I think the issue has been that the older generations kind of want to cloak their Christianity, their undercover Christians. We don't talk about it. Oh, boy. That's real scripture. Yeah, well, we go to church on Sunday and we leave it there. We don't bring it home. We don't bring it to communities. We don't bring it to the schools. We don't bring it to the meetings. We leave it there. And so what my generation wants to do is we don't want to just leave it at church. We want to pick it up and bring it around with us. And we don't want to be cloaked Christians. Boy, you're ringing bells with me. Folks, most of us go to church. A lot of us go to great churches. Only about 10% of churches preach salvation. Do you know that? Only 10% of our, a few did a huge study, like studied 50,000 servants. Only 10% even mentioned salvation. But even those that do and those that have altar calls, at the end they say, now go out and have a good day. Or go out and be Christ-like. You know, go out and honor God. That's not the message of the church, folks. It's not. For those coming forward, you should say, Romans 10.9, you know, when you know in your heart and you confess with your mouth, and it's not just one time when you get saved, confession is made into salvation. That's when you believe it. You should be encouraging. Pastors, if you're listening, You need to encourage your people not just to go out and be a good day. You know, most people just think being a good person is being a Christian. They think you can go to heaven. Most people think being a good person, you can go to heaven. Yeah. I mean, most evangelicals believe that. I mean, how far we've fallen. But to be a witness is, forgive me, I want to hear what you have to say with this whole thing of, we have responsibility, folks. We have responsibility to not just live it. They're lost. Most of them are not going to church. And they're going to stay lost. Somebody tells them God loves them. And they explain and they understand that first and foremost by you loving on them. And asking questions about what a beautiful outfit or, you know, you like sports. There's a million ways to engage. Yeah. And just, and level them just for the, secondarily to get them into the Lord. First, just let it be without agenda. Just love on them. Right? And that love opens up for them. They start asking questions. And they want to know. And so forgive me. I'm here to interview you. But you hit a hot button when you start getting in that conversation where people are not taking advantage of it. They're just going on and not living the life of God's gospel. Yeah, well, I think a lot of kids in my generation, a lot of the youth, they've not seen that side of Christianity. They've only seen... It's funny that we have so many people who aren't Christians kind of painting the narrative of Christianity, saying, well, Christians only say this. Christians only believe this. They won't love you. They want to condemn you. And so to be able to see that opposite side. We're good at condemning. Yes. We're really good at it. We've gotten that one down. We don't know how to love. And that is what we need to bring back into Christianity. Oh, man. Preach it, preach it, preach it. You want to add anything to that? Yeah, and just like praying over people too. That's like a big thing. You know, I go to the grocery store and I'll see someone, you know, praying over a homeless person or praying over somebody in the parking lot. And there's quite a few people that are walking by giving looks and not just like interested looks, but judgmental looks. I think it's beautiful. I start tearing up when I see that. I'm like, oh my gosh, I want to hop on in. So, You know, just praying over people, I think, is just step one into getting, you know, Gen Z students to, you know, come to Christ and be confident in their faith. Yeah. Well, that's the Holy Spirit. It's God's love flowing. And particularly when you're praying for them, God's love is flowing. We just tend to keep it for ourselves. Okay, I know I'm loved by God. That's just stopping it. It's about letting it flow through us, through the branches, so we bear fruit, right? We had a waitress last night, and we just had a great conversation. We just prayed for her right on the spot. It was a very emotional time. And you find out most of the time when you ask people, can I pray for you, they'll say yes. You wouldn't think they would. I'm trying to think of what I've ever been turned down. I don't know if I ever have. They want it. They don't want to say it out. They don't want to bring it up to you, you know, because they're so lost. You bring it to them. And then we have all these fears where they'll think I'm a fool or, you know, oppressing or whatever. And that's, God just, when you, we call it the nudge, you know, in our ministry. Follow the nudge with God's nudge in you to pray for them or whatever. Follow the nudge. You live in the fog. You live in the favor of God. God will bless you. Ignite your life, you know. The three of us are enjoying Ignited Lives. I wrote this book, you know, Ignite Your Life, because it's secondary about winning them and primarily about winning us. And when you challenge the high schoolers and Gen Zers to start doing that as well, that's like self-discipling. Discipleship programs, there's a million of them out there. But everybody knows I should be in there if they're a Christian. I know I should be on my knees, and I know I should be in the Word. But I'm so busy. God, you understand. But when you're in the game and you focus... More than your studies or more than your job or more whatever's in your family, but most importantly, to move everybody closer to Jesus. That's the only thing that's eternal. When you do that, then he blesses everything else. I mean, you guys are living examples. Oh, if I'd only had the knowledge of God that you guys have now. I mean, you're inspiring us. Well, you know, when you talk about being busy, I think that's a major issue in my generation that we kind of want to get away from. The average time that we spend on our phones is eight hours a day. Eight hours a day. Wow. Is that across the board, all ages? Across the board with Gen Z, yeah. That's a popular statistic, yeah. Wow. Wow. Eight hours a day, it's the norm. And so to set that aside, to kind of let that go, and to get back to the Bible, and to just surrender it all, it's a whole different thing that we've never really felt before. And by the way, most of you don't even realize that. Do you realize the phone, you can get everything you want from the Bible and commentaries, it's all there? You just ask the question, you know, it pops right up. It'll give you that scripture and 16 different versions and commentaries and whatever. I have a whole library in my office, big library. I don't use it anymore. I use my phone. Yeah. So they're already on their phones. But when they start asking questions, it's the deep questions. What is God? Who is God? What is it? Is there a hell? It pops up, doesn't it? With clarity. It's amazing. And that's why like AI, you know, people are so scared that AI is going to take over our world. If you utilize it correctly, you know, using it for the Bible, getting those fast answers, you know, it's going to fit to the character of God. you know, Gen Z students nowadays, as long as you're using it correctly. Yeah. AI is not evil. Like a gun is not evil. It's going to be used by evil. Exactly. I think it's going to be the Antichrist tool eventually. But right now, there's so much good we use AI and the knowledge that comes to us. It is already giving some perverted messages and giving scriptures not correctly. Again, it goes back to you have to understand the Bible. You have to be in the Word to know that's true and that isn't, right? With the guidance of the Holy Spirit. You guys are having fun. Yes. Yeah, it's all great. You really are. I mean, you just overwhelmed me when we were at an event the other day, and all of a sudden you started to pour it on. I was like, I've got to get these on to share that. Again, we just do this for a short while. Anything in particular you'd like to mention at this point about Gen Zers in general? Everybody should know this is the heart of a Gen Zer, and this is how we reach Gen Zers. Yeah, I'll say this one thing. I think it's so easy to give Gen Zers so much hate in that they're gonna ruin the next generation and they're addicted to their phones. And yeah, sure, some of that might be true, but if anything, we're so hungry to learn more and I think that takes a lot to pull out of us. But, you know, we need people like you that are going to, you know, talk to us and communicate and, you know, want to even just listen to us. So, you know, it takes, yeah, it just takes that extra step just to, you know, as we were talking about, just to communicate, have dialogue is such an important thing. It's not hard. It's not. It's not rocket science. You don't have to be a Bible scholar. Everybody has these excuses. Oh, I can't do that. I don't know how to. You just let the Holy Spirit. Luke 12, 12 says, the Holy Spirit will give you the word to say when you need them. And I've been doing that here, and I've been doing that for 50 years. And you can't keep up with these conversations, the questions they're going to ask, where they're going to go. But when you know the Holy Spirit is always going to be there to help you through that. At the end, it's always a, wow, that was God. And that ignites our lives, right? I mean, it's just amazing. Well, you know, I think that our generation is going to be radicalized in one direction. We can either go, you know, far this way or far that way. So we can either be radicalized against the truth, against Christ, against the Bible. Yeah. Wholesale. Or we could be radicalized in a direction that is for Christ, that is yearning for the truth, that is biblically sound. And so my goal is to bring all those people that have been this so far radicalized towards, you know, the lies. Yeah. And to bring them around. And to bring those people who are in the middle of the road trying to decide what is truth, who are so lost that they can't find the truth, to bring them to that. Because you see it all the time. You're either going to be marching in the streets burning cities down, or you're going to be standing around the flagpole praying for the Lord to intervene and build up our great society. situation where they're protesting and they all seem so evil. You get any one of them on their own, it's a whole different story. It's easy to follow a group. Yeah, what the group think is and what the individual's thinking, and you find every one of them, those that hurt the most are hurting the most. You know, they hurt other people. But we can't just turn them off. They're lost. It should break our hearts. They're lost. But by the grace of God, that could have been me. And it's just so simple. The point is, I just try to bring out through all this is how fun it is, how easy it is. Yeah. We don't have to be Bible scholars. I'm not a Bible scholar. I pedal car wax. What do I know? But I can love on people. Yeah. And love conquers all the way I see it. It just conquers all. And you're loving your constituents so well. God's loving them through you. And the whole experience of that. Yes. It's a thrilling way to live. You got to be excited about every day. Oh, of course. Every day is a blessing and every opportunity is a blessing. So yeah, plant that seed. It only takes one conversation. One conversation. I'll pitch your book one more time. Oh, yes. You've got Andy Biggs. Yes. Congressman Andy Biggs. Yes. Who's running for governor of Arizona. He's behind you. Eric Metaxas. Eric's sat right where you're sitting right now. We're good friends. And he's the academic and the pontificator. And he loves you. Barry Goldwater, the old guard. You know, he's my age. Barry Goldwater Jr. Yeah. You've got all these people. And, of course, Charlie Kirk. And we're all living in a bit of his legacy, you in particular, and you were close to him. But God bless you guys for what you're doing. I mean, it's just incredibly important. There's no other part of our society that is as important or has the potential of Jim's ears. Let's read truth. Folks, would you join us in praying? Father God, let's all pray to God right now. How many Gen Zers are there? We're talking like ages 14 to 30, something like that. Is that kind of a... How many are there in total? Do we know? Oh, millions, yeah. You don't know that question. I don't know. Oh, let me get my phone out. I'll go to it right here. AI. But it's tens of millions. Yeah. And those tens of millions can impact 330 million faster than anybody I know. With their zeal... Yeah. And with their quest for knowledge on fire, I mean, you see it in front of your eyes. And they're off the hook. They're ready. Let's just pray right to God. We don't normally end our podcast this way, but I just feel moved. Whatever that number is, 30 million Gen Zers, they're lost. They haven't had the background I've had. I grew up in church Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night. I have no excuse to whom much is given. We see these two young people here that are so full of you, so full of the Word, and so are being used so greatly by you. May we all do that. May we all focus. I pray that our audience who's listening to us right now, yes, we move everybody every day closer to Jesus, but in particular, when we have those opportunities and they happen every day, God, help us run to them and hug them and love on them. Amen. And allow God's love to flow through each one of us to change their lives. Because they can change the world. They're our only hope for America. I'm convinced of it. The only hope we have for America. If we're going to re-change America and make, yes, indeed, make America Christian again. It's going to come from Gen Zers. I pray this brief little conversation we're having will ignite all of us to do that every day better and better. God, we pray for the Gen Zers of America. They'll rise up and hear your voice and respond. and help us become Christian again as this great nation. Father God, we give you praise. Thank you for that. Thank you for giving us this wonderful time with these special books. In Jesus' name, amen. Thank you, guys. Amen. Tip of the iceberg. Again, I'll pitch it. You don't have a book, but he does. Turning Point. Thank God for Turning Point. Amen. And the impact that Turning Point is having on the youth of America. Praise God. Thank you, guys. God bless you.
