He was asking me for help but then also kind of telling me what his trouble was and I just looked at him and I said well have you tried talking to God? And he was it was like a little light bulb went on and he was like I'm going to go do that. And then it was like everything God there was a little piece that came into his world and then he trotted off. Welcome to the Ignite with Barry McGuire podcast where Barry's book and passion for spreading God's love are guaranteed to ignite your life. Now listen in and prepare to have your life ignited. Who about that it's been talking to me for the camera it's just a nice hearing your heart. You have such a heart for sharing sharing your faith. Can you kind of give us some snapshots of what your life is like as you're going along and God opens these opportunities for you? You know what I was driving down the street the other day and I was leaving my house and and this young man approached my car and he was waving his hands and I could tell that maybe he wasn't all there. And he was telling explaining to me that he needed some help and he was telling me what he was asking me for help but then also kind of telling me what his trouble is. And I just looked at him and I said well have you tried talking to God and he was it was like a little light bulb went on and he was like I'm going to go do that. And then it was like everything got a there was a little piece that came into his world and then he trotted off. You never know. Yeah. The impact you had with those simple words you never know until you get to have it. Yeah, this young man could come to you someday and have it. I hope so. You won't remember me but you said that better probably do this that probably this I found the Lord that I've led people to the Lord. I mean those things happen all the time with a simple word the little moments just a moment you give that moment even a moment we can move people closer to Jesus. There was another time that I was feeling my vending machines because that's what I do and I was aware that this lady was watching me and so I struck up a conversation with her. And she ended up divulging that she had a unique lifestyle and she said she commented that how friendly I was knowing that she probably understood I didn't agree with her lifestyle. And she commented on that and that was another time the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said it's your job to love her not to judge her. And I told her that and when I told her that here I am feeling vending machines and in the middle of basically a truck stop and I spoke those words to her. And then I hugged her and then we talked some more and and just visited for a moment and hugged her two more times and it was just one of those moments that I don't know what came of it. But I know what the Lord spoke to my heart and I know what it affected her because of her response to me. I would say 90% of faith sharing is experiences like that where you just you had this moment and in that moment you moved that person closer to Jesus and then got to bring other people in their lives. You know, you played a role. So there's a lot of most people aren't sharing their faith. Most people watch us right now are not sharing their faith. What would you say to a person like that? What's the benefit back to you? Why should people share their faith? The repercussions of sharing your faith is a fulfillment that you will only know once you've done it. And the joy and not only did you encourage someone else, you're encouraging yourself. You're filling your own cup up in the process. And God is celebrating as you're celebrating. It's exciting. It really is. There's nothing like it. Nothing like it. Well, you do it all the time. God bless you for doing that. And let's pray that and we know that that's your words are impacting people today that just can't imagine themselves doing that they want to do it. Maybe you just appreciate it. That's right. Thank you. The Wire Podcast.
