Finding Purpose in Sharing Your Faith

I sometimes go looking for him just to see if he's okay, and when I see him I'll hug him and I know that God wants him. You have so many stories, so there's 30 million Christians I mean real Christians Born again, Christians on their way to heaven. 1% of us are sharing our faith. Why are you part of that 1%? What prompted you to start sharing your faith? Getting out of your box, out of your comfort zone? 01:06 - Speaker 1You know, I have to say I have to really, really be honest here. I'm not, I'm convicted that I don't share my faith more than I do. So am I, yeah, and I feel like all of us can have that. But there are lost people out there and for me it's a personal thing where God puts somebody right there and it's almost like I know it's like a prompt or something. I really can't put my words into it. 01:40I know you can actually just jump into something and start witnessing to somebody, but there's a guy that used to come by and he's a homeless guy and I don't know what it is about this guy. And there are people throughout life that I feel like have been there and I just know, like this person, God's hard after you and he's hard after everybody. But there must be people, there must be something divine well that God knows, that's somebody that you can that's the whole. 02:19That's the holy spirit, yeah, and when you're, when you're witnessing oh my goodness, if everybody could just get this it's almost like you have to do it to know it. 02:30Oh, yes, but when you are, thank you, when you follow the word of the Lord, that nudge, when you do it and you step out in it, there is no nothing on earth more exhilarating. It's like this, it's like this, it's like this, it's like when you do it. If anybody out there actually goes this way and does this, let me tell you that you will realize what you were born to do. You will know it. It's like, once you do it and you see the power of God in it, and it's almost like you said that when you're witnessing to somebody, that's what almost gives you faith, because as you're witnessing, the faith rises up in you, oh, absolutely, and it's almost as if a supernatural faith rises up in you. And then you see that aha moment in the person you're talking to and that fire in their eyes and that, oh my gosh, I have never. I've never heard that before. Maybe I've heard it a million times, but not in that way. 03:33 - Speaker 3You find things come out of your mouth you don't even realize. You said, oh, and I can't repeat it, He'll give you, he'll give you the words to say and you wonder where they came from right. 03:42 - Speaker 1Yeah, and then you do that again and I'm like, no, because that wasn't me, that's right. 03:46 - Speaker 3Yeah, that's right. It's amazing. Where did that come from? Yes, and they're crying. Yes, they're crying and you're crying and I'm crying. I was like whoa, and then you're laughing matches that If you've not experienced that, you don't understand what it means to be a Christian. You may be saved, you may be on your way to heaven, but there's no joy, there's no purpose in your life. This is what being a Christian is all about. That's why he said that's the great commission. You know, in Isaiah 43.10, he says I appoint you as my witness so that you will believe, so that you will believe, so that you, not them. I wouldn't have said I point it to my witness so they believe. No, he said so, it's you who believe. What does that do for your faith? What does that do for your faith? It's just overwhelming. Can anybody take the reality of Jesus Christ in your life? There's no way. Take your head off, it doesn't matter. Cut me up. No, God is real. 04:42 - Speaker 1I know him. Now it's your testimony.
