Finding Purpose in Sharing Your Faith

There's a guy that used to come by and he's a homeless guy and I don't know what it is about this guy. His name is Alex. I sometimes go looking for him just to see if he's okay and when I see him I'll hug him and I know that God wants him. I don't know why I know that but I know it and there are people throughout life that I feel like have been there and I just know like this person God's heart after you. I hear we're Jenny and Darlene and these cows I just want to say off camera I just want to get to know you better. You have so many stories so there's 30 million Christians I mean real Christians born again Christians on the way to heaven. One percent of us are sharing our faith. Why are you part of that one percent? What prompted you to start sharing your faith getting on your box out of your comfort zone? You know I have to say I have to really really be honest here. I'm not I'm convicted that I don't share my faith more than I do. So a lot. Yeah and I feel like all of us can have that but but there are lost people out there and and for me it's it's a personal thing where where God puts somebody right there and it's almost like I know it's like a prompt or something. I really can't put my words in it too. I know you can actually just jump into something and start witnessing to somebody but there's a guy that used to come by and he's a homeless guy and I don't know what it is about this guy. His name is Alex. I sometimes go looking for him just to see if he's okay and when I see him I'll hug him and I know that God wants him. I don't know why I know that but I know it and there are people throughout life that I feel like have been there and I just know like this person God's hard after you and he's hard after everybody but there must be people there must be something divine that God knows that somebody that you can. That's the Holy Spirit. Yeah and when you're when you're witnessing oh my goodness if everybody could just get this it's almost like you have to do it to know it but when you are when you followed the the word of the Lord that nudge when you do it and you step out in it there is no nothing on earth more exhilarating it's like this it's like this it's like when you do it if it if anybody out there actually goes this way and does this let me tell you that you will realize what you were born to do you will know it it's like once you do it and you see the power of God in it and it's almost like you said that when you're witnessing to somebody that's what almost gives you faith because as you're witnessing the faith rises up in you and and and it's almost as in a supernatural faith that rises up in you and then you see the the that aha moment in the person you're talking to in that that fire in their eyes and that oh my gosh I have never I've never heard that before maybe I've heard it a million times but not in that way as you find things come on your mouth you don't even realize your said oh and I can't repeat it give you he'll give you the words to say and you wonder where they came from right yeah and that's not amazing that again and that's right that's right it's amazing what could I know where did that come from and they're crying there's nothing in life that matches that if you if you're not if you're not experienced that you don't understand what I mean to be a Christian you may be saved you may be in your heaven on your way to him it's there's no joy there's no purpose in your life this is what a lot of being Christians all about that's why he said that's the great commission you know and Isaiah 4310 he says I appoint you as my witness so that you will believe so that you will so that you not them yeah I wouldn't say that I appoint you as my witness so they believe no he says so it's you believe is what does that do for your faith what does that do for your faith it's just over one can anybody take the reality of Jesus Christ in your life there's no way take your head off it doesn't matter cut me up there's no God is real I know him now it's your testimony that's right my testimony yeah it's not what I heard it's what I do through thank you thank you yes that's powerful that is powerful you guys are special thank you thank you this is very precious thank you God bless you if you enjoyed today's episode let us know and don't forget to subscribe rate and review to help us reach more listeners remember sharing your faith ignites your faith see you next time on the ignite with Barry McGuire podcast
